“The modern workers' struggle is a part of history, a part of social progress … in the middle of the fight, we learn how we must fight”

Rosa Luxemburg (1871-1919)

Beginning from humble origins, Red Ink Community Library started as trunks of literature from an old Massachusetts union hall. Since that exhumation, the archives have grown in both modern materials and rare treasures. In square shelves sit historical pamphlets and leftist journals alongside modern zines written by socialist organizations and anarchist collectives. On top of that, the collection receives a steady stream of new publications from notable leftist publishers like PM Press and Verso Books. Readers of all backgrounds will find topics that speak to them, from the experiences of people in real revolutionary action around the world, to poetry eulogizing the worker’s dignity and their struggle.

Along with this formidable collection, Red Ink Community Library as a space will be available to be rented out to community organizers, radical organizations, mutual aid groups and fundraisers. Red Ink Community Library also aims to have art shows, poetry readings, and to hold educational lectures. The library will be a safe corner for radical thinkers to sojourn, learn, and network.
